Get to know and appreciate the marine ecosystem of the Mediterranean

A big part of the MWM experience relies on the environment in which our activity is developed, not only terrestrial but also marine. The Mediterranean Sea hosts high value ecosystems, and we hape that our clients can learn to value and preserve them. Therefore, our highly trained skippers will offer an environmental workshop at the beginning of the trip.

There is a real "underwater forest" at the bottom of Minorcan waters known as seagrass meadows that, as terrestrial forests, generate oxygen helping to mitigate climate change. Furthermore, they serve as feed and refugee to most of fish and mollusc species, keep the coast and the beaches safe from waves, and to a great extent are responsible for the color and typical brightness of Minorcan waters.
